All About ARFID

A podcast all about Avoidant/Restrictive Food Intake Disorder (ARFID) in toddlers, children and teens, particularly those living with complex co-presentations of Autism, POTS, EDS, MCAS, genetic metabolic disorders and neurological disorders. We discuss how to resolve essential nutrition gaps in children with high severity ARFID and Autism. However, we also explore the very difficult challenge of how to support severely restrictive feeders who also have co-morbidities (other disorders) which are associated with very complex and specific medical nutrition requirements. Your host is Michael Hann, a registered Consultant Paediatric Dietitian and clinical biochemist. Michael operates a paediatric clinic that supports children all across Australia with high complexity co-morbidities and severely restrictive feeding.
